Easter 2012

This is what inspired me to do polka dots and bunnies for our Easter table this year.

To bring more of the polka dots to the table, I was busy sewing napkins again.  Also I could not decide on the green or blue, so used them both with the bunny rings pulled out from the drawer of the buffet.

Bunnies wishing us Happy Easter in the polka dot eggs.

Small salt and pepper shakers placed at each end of the table. You probably don't want to know, but I did do some whining (according to the husband) to get the store proprietor to break up a deviled egg set just so I could buy the small salt and pepper shakers.

Bunny and eggs on the goblets.

New bunny plates purchased with a Christmas gift certificate.

Our grandson is going to love this table with the bunnies.

This is much prettier in person.

My cute little egg bunnies that have been around for awhile.  The daisy basket was purchased with the  matching bunny plates.

Couldn't resist the polka dot bowls to put some little surprises in.

And this is how the buffet looks all together.

A little vignette on the built in china cupboard.

Thanks for stopping by, please let me know what you think of my second tablescape.  (Besides the poor picture quality.  LOL)

Saint Patrick's Day 2012

This is my first try at tablescaping.

Set the table for 6.

The festive centerpiece.

Here is the wee leprechaun.

Thought the polka dot flower was interesting.

Must have some beads and gold coins.

Place setting close up.

I made the napkins and buffet runner.

The buffet with the runner I made.

Needed a Bigger Bed at the Cottage

The small full size bed has been removed.

Asked my son to build me a king size platform bed.
Here is the frame he made.

Here are the supports with notches to hold the slats.

Slats all laid in.

Here is my comfy king size bed.
Sleeping better at the cottage now.
