Saint Patrick's Day 2012

This is my first try at tablescaping.

Set the table for 6.

The festive centerpiece.

Here is the wee leprechaun.

Thought the polka dot flower was interesting.

Must have some beads and gold coins.

Place setting close up.

I made the napkins and buffet runner.

The buffet with the runner I made.

Please be sure to visit the parties below.

  1. Hi, Patti, and welcome to the world of tablescaping in crazy ol' Blog Land! I'm visiting from Susan's Between Naps on the Porch where I also post each week. It's good to have a new "face" aboard! Good job on your first outing! You're obviously a talented seamstress which is always a plus in tablescaping. I have tried my hand at it, but that's something I'll have to leave to you gals who have a natural talent for it. I get WAY too frustrated! I like the dose of color you added to the table by way of the rainbow ribbon and candies. Really adds interest! I hope you and yours have a fun and safe St. Patrick's Day celebration, and I look forward to seeing you back here in the coming weeks!

  2. Extending another welcome from the Welcome Wagon at Susan's Porch! I'm also visiting from the Blog Crawl. You are a girl after my own heart making your own buffet runners and napkins. It definitely lets you get the look you want, doesn't it? So glad you've joined the (ahem... addictive) world of tablescaping and hope to see you again soon!

    1. Thank you for the welcome. It means alot to me that you took the time to comment. Yes, sewing my own napkins and table runner definitely gave me the color for the look I wanted. What? addictive, no one told me that, maybe I should join tablescapes anonymous now. Just teasing.
