Easter 2012

This is what inspired me to do polka dots and bunnies for our Easter table this year.

To bring more of the polka dots to the table, I was busy sewing napkins again.  Also I could not decide on the green or blue, so used them both with the bunny rings pulled out from the drawer of the buffet.

Bunnies wishing us Happy Easter in the polka dot eggs.

Small salt and pepper shakers placed at each end of the table. You probably don't want to know, but I did do some whining (according to the husband) to get the store proprietor to break up a deviled egg set just so I could buy the small salt and pepper shakers.

Bunny and eggs on the goblets.

New bunny plates purchased with a Christmas gift certificate.

Our grandson is going to love this table with the bunnies.

This is much prettier in person.

My cute little egg bunnies that have been around for awhile.  The daisy basket was purchased with the  matching bunny plates.

Couldn't resist the polka dot bowls to put some little surprises in.

And this is how the buffet looks all together.

A little vignette on the built in china cupboard.

Thanks for stopping by, please let me know what you think of my second tablescape.  (Besides the poor picture quality.  LOL)

    1. I'm glad you loved the napkins. I did end up making them, because I didn't have time to shop for some, when I realized the napkins I was going to use didn't look right when I put the table together. The bunny plates were something I found when out shopping one day and just had to have them.

Thanks for visiting and sharing my treasures with me.

  6. Welcome back, Trish! I haven't seen you around since St. Patrick's Day!!! I love it that you found inspiration in something so cheerful! Polka dots are so much fun and make us all feel good! It really must be nice to be able to just whip up your own napkins on a whim! That's real talent! I like the part about you whining (according to your husband!) to get those salt & peppers. I am an advocate of whining, griping, groaning, crying, or whatever it takes to get what I need when it comes to tabletop decor! I salute you for it!!! Have a Happy Easter, and I look forward to seeing you back again real soon!!!

    1. Thank you for visiting again. I enjoyed using the polka dot and bunny theme, knowing our grandson will love it. I have been watching you, even though I don't post each week I still love to look at all the beautiful tables and hear about your class. Thank you for the salute, not so sure my husband appreciated methat day, oh well. I agree for what ever it takes(especially when I really, really wanted them) in the name of table decor. I will be doing a patriotic table for May/summer.
